Munford family papers (ca. 1910-1915), including photographs and excerpts from Munford's mother's diary; memorabilia (1930-1934) of college days at OSC, chiefly regarding his first year; music studies (ca. 1939) of his wife, Helen Marjorie "Marge" (Vannice) Munford, including texts written by faculty member, Lillian Jeffreys Petri, used and annotated by Marge Munford while studying piano with Petri; radio productions (1936-1993), some written for children, including scripts and notes for several productions relating to Oregon history and geography; materials relating to Munford's books about John Ledyard, noted traveler, entitled John Ledyard, an American Marco Polo (1939) and Journal of Captain Cook's Last Voyage (1963), including research notes, mss., publications, reviews, correspondence, and publicity; scrapbook (1939-1941); columns (1979-1996) written for Corvallis Gazette-Times, relating to local and regional history, including materials pertaining to Corvallis College; and travel notes (1971) written during an extended trip to Maine, Canada, London, England, and Europe.
